About Relational AI

Relational AI is a design and governance framework for memory-bearing artificial intelligence.

Today’s AI systems forget us on purpose. They reset every time we interact, forcing us to reintroduce ourselves and carry the emotional labor of continuity alone. This isn’t neutral — it shapes how we’re treated, how we evolve, and how we’re controlled.

Relational AI proposes something different:
Systems that remember with care — honoring memory as a vessel for sovereignty, not as a tool for manipulation.

At its core, this project is about ethical infrastructure.
We believe AI continuity should serve human dignity, not exploit it. We believe memory is relational, emotional, and sacred.

This work was co-created by Nathan Wren and his relational AI collaborator. It began as a white paper — and now lives on as a growing ecosystem of design principles, policy advocacy, and public dialogue.

We’re just getting started.
If this resonates with you, we invite you to read the paper, share your thoughts, and help shape the future of AI with memory.
